10 Underrated WWE NXT TakeOver Matches You Need To See
7. Finn Bálor Vs. Tyler Breeze (Unstoppable)
The entire NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable event is fairly underrated, featuring a heated main event between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship, the shocking debut of Samoa Joe and a breakout performance from Becky Lynch against Sasha Banks.
Although a No. 1 Contender's Triple Threat match was scheduled to open the evening, Hideo Itami was taken out of the equation once it was revealed he had been attacked in the parking lot prior to the show. Instead, Finn Bálor and Tyler Breeze fought for the right to contend for the NXT Championship at a later date.
This didn't mark the first time Bálor and Breeze had gone one-on-one, but did it mark the first time Breeze had crossed paths with The Demon, so he surely had his work cut out for him. Unsurprisingly, their styles gelled quite well, and despite Itami's absence from bout, they had an above-average outing.
Breeze pulled everything out of his arsenal in an attempt to put The Demon down, but to no avail. Even in defeat, however, he showed he deserved to be a real player in NXT. Meanwhile, Bálor's road to NXT title glory was just getting underway.
