As soon as May 2014's NXT TakeOver concluded, everyone was raving about the instant classic contested by Charlotte and Natalya over the NXT Women's Championship. Yet they were quick to forget the awesome match had by Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze earlier in the evening.

Breeze's name appears quite a bit on this list, and that's no coincidence. The guy is just that good, and although his goofy gimmick can be questionable, there is no denying that he is an excellent athlete when he steps between those ropes. His raw talent was on full display when he and Zayn went one-on-one.

Zayn already established himself as a star on the rise through his series of matches with Cesaro the previous year, so this was really a make-or-break bout for Breeze, who rose to the occasion with a breakout performance. Zayn's underdog personality was a fantastic foil to the arrogant demeanor of Prince Pretty, and they both shined as a result.

The former El Generico seemingly had the win in the bag before Breeze surprised him (and the rest of the audience) by scoring the upset victory... in clean fashion, no less. Breeze wouldn't ultimately capture the championship, but either way, this was the night he officially arrived in NXT as someone who wasn't to be underestimated any longer.
