Another exceptional cruiserweight, "Primetime" Elix Skipper seemed to be overlooked everywhere he went. Even though he got into WCW in his mid-30's, Skipper should have been a part of the WCW cruiserweight divisions renewed push. With the likes of the aforementioned Helms and Blitzrkrieg, the turn of the century could have seen another boom in that style of wrestling. Skipper was awarded the cruiserweight title upon his debut, but by that time the division was a shell of its former self. Making things even worse was the fact that it was diluted after WCW introduced cruiserweight tag team titles which stretched out the talents. Skipper would have never been a top of the card talent but if you wanted to give a fan their money's worth, he could certainly deliver. His lasting legacy will be his death defying cage walk in TNA. Had he done that in WCW things may have been different for him going forward. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Hcx56zLs7I
