Everybody and their grandmother remembers the famous 'Pipebomb Promo' CM Punk cut on Raw in the summer of 2011. Not only was the promo a blistering departure from regular WWE fare of the time, it turned Punk into an anti-hero for those pro wrestling fans who had grown disenfranchised by the company's output.

By referencing Colt Cabana, ROH, NJPW and more, Punk broke the rules of WWE TV and looked like a bad-ass for doing it. He also threatened to tell a story about Vince McMahon that would shock us all. Then, for whatever reason, he didn't.

Right before Punk could spill some juicy gossip about Vinnie Mac, his mic was cut off. That's fine, but couldn't WWE have revisited something that was, y'know, the most thrilling tease of the entire segment? Punk conveniently forgot whatever it was he going to share and focused on tearing down John Cena's credibility as a wrestler instead.

What is it with Vince McMahon and unfinished business?
