10 Unsung Heroes Of WCW

4. 2 Cold Scorpio

These days, we take for granted that our sports entertainers are able to do various flips and tricks between the ropes. Back in the early 90s, however, the presence of a plancha or a missile dropkick was a rare occurrence, at least it was before guys like 2 Cold Scorpio secured themselves contracts 'where the big boys play'. Scorpio was like nobody else in WCW, executing spectacular moves like the tumbleweed (moonsault legdrop), 450 splash and various other twists and dives that the heavyweights couldn't dream of executing. Scorpio got over big as a babyface and formed a team with Marcus (not yet Buff) Bagwell. He even received a WCW Title shot against Barry Windham at a Clash of Champions event (he lost). WCW was not producing a great product between 1992-94, but Scorpio could usually be counted on to deliver the goods and, maybe, bust out something that you'd never seen before.
