10 Ups & 1 Down From NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day

6. Cameron Grimes

Well sh*t.

Whatever this music video thingy was, it was damn entertaining. Cameron Grimes going all Scrooge McDuck sounded like something from WWF The Music: Vol 4, and yours truly is absolutely here for every tiny bit of it. This guy has been a hidden gem in WWE circles for a while now, and he's ready to rock the world.

Or...rap to the world, at least. Honestly, if you're into old-school vignettes and don't think WWE does enough of them in 2021, then check it out. You might find it difficult to remove the grin from your face after watching, because there's just something so infectious about Grimes' goofy, over-the-top delivery.

The key thing, as always, is going to be follow up. Nobody should whine if WWE simply re-air this hype vid on NXT midweek and let Cameron back it up with some Twitter banter though. That'd be enough right now. The vid itself deserves to be replayed and replayed over the coming weeks of TV regardless.
