10 Ups & 12 Downs For WWE In 2020 (So Far)

9. The Ballad Of Bayley & Sasha

No matter when they plan on finally pulling the trigger on the singles feud, WWE is doing an absolutely stellar job with Bayley and Sasha Banks at the moment, drip-feeding fans just enough tension to keep things tiding over between displays of friendship and togetherness.

This is earnestly great stuff. The latest instalment saw Sasha tease challenging for Bayley's SmackDown Women's Championship on this week's Raw, only to turn around and call Asuka out, leading to their Backlash bout. Failure there could drive an almighty wedge between the duo - as could losing the Women's Tag Team Championships to whoever emerges as credible contenders. Eventually, after all of this, they'll split, go to war, and deliver the kind of pay-per-view classic fans have been waiting years for.

Can't wait.
