10 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Apr 1)

4. Marko Murdered

Lance Archer Marko Stunt
AEW

Holy sh*t, did Lance Archer vs. Marko Stunt rule.

This was perfect what for it was. After smashing a crew member en route to the ring, Archer straight-up abused his tiny opponent, launching him across the ring, caving his chest in with strikes, and no-selling everything 'Mr. Fun Size' threw at him barring a couple of headshots, which he quickly recovered from. 'The Murderhawk Monster' sent Stunt flying like a crisp packet in a whirlwind. A release suplex sent him three-quarters of the way across the ring and a Pounce put him through the ropes as Marko, to his credit, played a sterling role, bumping and selling his *ss off for the big man.

Lance pulled out of a surefire three-count before eventually putting Stunt away with the Blackout. He was like a predator toying with his prey throughout and his mauling of a man half his size couldn't have been played better by either of them. Plus, it was so much fun to watch.
