10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2020 (Part 1)
7. Crazzy Times
Rhino and Tommy Dreamer promised to bring a mystery partner to the ring to combat oVe to open the show, with that man being former World Tag Team Champion, Crazzy Steve. Of all the possibilities for 'The War Machine' and 'The Innovator of Violence' to choose, Steve was perhaps at the bottom of those prediction lists.
It was a random return to say the least, but here's hoping this wasn't a one-time only deal for Steve. His whole character is superb, so it's a real mystery as to why he never received a big singles run in Impact following his days in both The Menagerie and Decay. The X division could do with a character like Crazzy Steve, seeing as the division doesn't really have any of these big characters, preferring to instead focus on the in-ring abilities of its performers instead.
Steve excels in both the wrestling side of things, and the character side. It would be a massive surprise if he didn't continue appearing in Impact following Rebellion.
