10 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2020 (Part 1)
8. In Search Of The Best
Before we talk about what was said, it was a shame we couldn't get to see The North defending the World Tag Team Championships at Rebellion, or at the very least be in a match of some sorts, regardless of whether it was a title match or not. However, with the borders closed, there wasn't a single thing that could be done to get Ethan Page and Josh Alexander to the set.
Now: the reason for this being an Up.
The North rightly stated that they didn't become the longest-reigning World Tag Team Champions in Impact history without defending the straps against the very best teams on offer, so as a result, they've laid down a simple challenge. 'All Ego' and 'The Walking Weapon' want to be challenged by the absolute best Canada has to offer - well, second best after Page and Alexander, of course.
That's a challenge that your writer can't wait to see play out. The Canadian wrestling scene is full of incredible talents that would be extremely well-suited inside an Impact ring. They just need these sorts of opportunities to be showcased to a wider audience, which is (hopefully) what this challenge will accomplish.
