10 Ups And 12 Downs From WWE WrestleMania 34

2. Jumping The Shark

When Braun Strowman brought out his “partner” Brains Strowman on Raw, this column said it was too much and just too silly for someone like Braun, ill-fitting his character.

Sunday, WWE went full “jump the shark” mode, having the Monster Among Men go from a destructive force to a smiling babyface, plucking a child from the crowd to be his tag team partner.

Keep in mind that this is the same guy who threw Curt Hawkins through a wall last week as part of the ongoing punchline. This is the guy who has tipped over an ambulance and wreaked havoc on Raw, and now he’s smiling and hugging a kid from the audience.

Uggh. Uggh. UGGH. Just totally stupid booking.
