10 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 2nd)

2. Bankrupt

By now, it€™s clear to anyone with two eyes and a pulse that WWE writers have no idea what to do with the 2015 Money in the Bank winner Sheamus. Is there anyone more directionless right now (as a singles wrestler) than the Celtic Warrior? True, his tag team with King Barrett is a great move, pairing two hard-hitting, talented guys who aren€™t doing much else, but Sheamus is sitting on a golden ticket for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match and has nothing going on. Consider that he€™s had exactly one televised singles match in the last month, an October 5th victory over Neville. His last real program was against Randy Orton, which ended two months ago. At this point, it might be better to find a way to transition the MITB briefcase to someone else. It would suck to have Sheamus cash in his title shot and lose, becoming the third person to fail (John Cena and Damien Sandow are the others), but can anyone see him as a world champion in the foreseeable future? The poor Irishman needs a map and a flashlight desperately.
