10 Utterly Pointless WWE Backstage Segments

To be fair, this was one of the few WWE comedy skits that was actually hilarious. Completely pointless, of course, but hilarious all the same.

The camera cuts to an in-the-zone Batista, busy preparing for a big Monday Night Raw main event. Then, suddenly a fan who, apparently, escaped the clutches of security (and who will probably be debuting in WWE under some gimmick or other within the next couple of years) walks into view, pausing momentarily to mimmick the Animal's trademark stage theatrics, before running off as a couple of burly guards give chase.

The segment proved that less is more, and thirty seconds of something genuinely funny will always trump a joke that gets beaten into the ground over the course of a painful few months (*cough* James Ellsworth's chin *cough*).
