10 Very Rare Brock Lesnar Matches You Have To See

4. Global Warning (Aug 10, 2002)

But it wasn’t just the UK that was treated to an exclusive Lesnar PPV appearance — he also featured on an Australian show in the build up to SummerSlam 2002. There, he competed in one of the most star-studded matches in WWE history; a Triple Threat match against Triple H and the Rock.

The showdown was essentially a preparatory match for Brock’s imminent clash with the Rock. And while this meeting down under may not have been quite as significant as that SummerSlam encounter, for the sheer star-power involved it’s certainly worth a watch.

Even from this match alone, it was clear to see that the WWE had big plans for Lesnar. He managed to kick out of the People’s Elbow and the Pedigree throughout the course of the match, and it was Triple H who eventually ate the pinfall to allow the Rock to retain his Championship.

It remains the only instance in which these three were together in a WWE ring, and while it was one of the very first times Brock and Triple H crossed paths, it was also one of the final face-offs between long-time rivals the Game and the Rock.

While the Rebellion match with Edge is available in the deep, dark crevices of the WWE Network, the Global Warning event is not, making this an even rarer Lesnar appearance.
