10 Vince McMahon Matches You Completely Forgot About

7. Vince McMahon Vs Shane McMahon

A rematch from their incredible WrestleMania X-Seven battle earlier in the year, Shane and Vince found themselves on opposite sides of the divide by October, when the bungled 'Invasion' storyline pitched them against one another as representatives of their respective 'companies' for the night.

Now suddenly an indignant babyface owner rather than a malevolent beast, Vince's beating of his own son was presented as a noble act, after Shane and sister Stephanie had orchestrated an attack on Linda McMahon on SmackDown the previous week.

Fresh off the announcement that an elimination tag match at that year's Survivor Series would end the flagging war between the WWF and the WCW/ECW 'Alliance', Vince and Shane went at it one more time with the usual bells and whistles the two would employ.

After a brawl around the ring, Shane missed a spectacular shooting star press, but regained control long enough to hit his flying elbow on Vince through the announce table.

With Vince well beaten, Shane set his father up for his Van Terminator, but a counter left both men prone in the ring.

Run-ins from the battling factions brought the match to a halt, and a Kurt Angle swerve-turn gifted a dramatic victory to Shane.
