4. Vince McMahon & Carlito Vs. Triple H

Adding himself to the match to disadvantage his son-in-law, Vince McMahon joined Triple H's hugely outmatched rival Carlito in a September 2007 steel cage match with a view of handing 'The Game' his first defeat since a triumphant return at the previous month's SummerSlam pay-per-view.

The match followed WWE's usual handicap match formula, with Triple H finding ways to recapture momentum each time the numerical advantage would take hold.

A third wheel in the contest, Carlito entered to little reaction, and his assaults on 'The Game' were merely an ineffective distraction to give Vince several opportunities to try and escape.

Triple H had few problems foiling the plans, but would finally come unstuck during a battle with Vince atop the cage.

As the two exchanged punches while perched fifteen feet in the air, Carlito was able to distract Hunter just long enough for Vince to careen down the other side of the cage wall, winning the match.

Escaping the scene of the crime, Vince immediately bailed on Carlito, allowing Triple H to regain heat he hadn't even lost by bloodying 'The Caribbean Bad Apple' in the post-match.
