10 Way Too Early Card Predictions For WWE WrestleMania 43
1. Roman Reigns vs. The Rock
It's the match that keeps getting away from WWE! They've wanted to book Roman Reigns vs. The Rock for years now, but it hasn't happened for various reasons. Chief amongst them is that Dwayne's schedule is manic and ever-evolving. Pinning him down for long enough to cement another run has been difficult for management.
On the other side, Roman says he'll be around TV far more often following WrestleMania 42. Hopefully, he's still doing his thing regularly come next year's 43, because that'd mean Reigns is primed and ready to tangle with his very own 'Final Boss'. Roman getting The Bloodline back together with Jimmy and Jey Uso on Raw might have something to do with this overarching narrative too.
He's subconsciously rebuilding his family knowing that Rocky could come in and ruin everything. If The Rock does come to take everything Roman has worked for, then he'd need to do so as a villain. Core WWE fans would not cheer for Dwayne over the 'OTC' at this stage in proceedings, let's be honest.
If they wish, then WWE can symbolically put Rock's 'People's Championship' on the line in Saudi. If not, then having him carry it around the place like a slap in the face to Roman still sounds decent. It's time to get this match in the ring, lads. You've made everyone wait long enough.
