10 Way Too Early Card Predictions For WWE WrestleMania 43
9. Gunther vs. Jacob Fatu
Please note the complete and utter absence of Brock from this list. Why? Well, Lesnar seemed to call it quits at 'Mania 42, but even if that's a ruse then he'll surely have called it a career by the time SummerSlam 2026 comes around in August. That retirement (possibly vs. Gunther) would fall long before the trip to Saudi.
No 'Beast Incarnate' for you, Riyadh money men.
On the plus side, Gunther would look like a million bucks if he could point to the likes of Goldberg, Cena, Styles and Lesnar as victims of his might. Hopefully, all going well, Jacob Fatu will be a sustainable main event worker by next spring. Gunther already is, so seeing them locking horns one-on-one would be a bonafide treat.
Fatu got supremely physical with Drew McIntyre in their "Unsanctioned Match" at 42, so something similar would be fine and dandy for he and the 'Ring General' at 43. You just know that Gunther would find a way to lace the bout with old school sensibilities and psychology too, which would show a different side to Jacob's game and theoretically make him an even bigger star than he already is in the eyes of management backstage.
Bonus points go to WWE if this is for the United States Title, or something like that. Putting the strap on Gunther would elevate it rather than diminishing him. That'd also free up the current US Champ to do something bigger across the weekend in Saudi as well.
Speaking of which...
