10 Ways Great Balls Of Fire Can Be WWE's Best Show Of The Year

4. A Rare PPV Win For Wyatt

Of all the matches on the Great Balls Of Fire card, Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt has had the weakest build. ‘The Eater Of Worlds’ is lost at the moment, cutting the same, nonsensical promo over and over, while ‘The Kingslayer’ is far from inspiring in his current babyface role. Both men need something new, and this storyline feels like it was only booked as WWE had nothing else for them to do.

Getting the match right is key to the PPV’s success. The duo will likely be given a considerable amount of time, and GBOF won’t be the best WWE show of the year if it has this giant, joyless black hole stuck in the middle. They’re talented enough to make it work, but as with everything else on the show, the finish is key.

Bray really needs to go over here. If he falls to Seth, he’ll have absolutely no forward momentum, and will only drift into another listless upper midcard feud that nobody cares about. Pinning Rollins would get people talking, generate some buzz around the lowly Wyatt, and once again put his career on an upward trajectory. Time is running out for him as a potential ‘top guy,’ and winning on Sunday is vital to rebuilding his shattered credibility.
