10 Ways Hulk Hogan Is The Most Ridiculous Human Ever

2. Elvis Was Hulk Hogan's #1 Fan

As per the 2010 Hollywood Hulk Hogan autobiography, the legendary Elvis Presley was a huge Hulkamaniac.

According to Hogan, the King would regularly watch Hulk compete in the Memphis area. To have such an icon be a part of your fanbase? That's quite the accolade and should serve as an indicator of just how popular the Hulkster was at that point in time.

Having made his in-ring debut in August 1977, it would take until May 1979 for Hulk - under his Terry Boulder guise - to first work in Memphis; that being a DQ win over the Mongolian Stomper for Jerry Jarrett's Continental Wrestling Association.

Was Elvis in attendance for Hogan's Memphis debut and for the rest of the powerhouse's run with the CWA throughout the rest of the year? Not quite.

In actuality, Elvis Aaron Presley passed away on 16 August 1977 at the age of just 42. That was one year and nine months before Hulk Hogan ever wrestled in Memphis, and Presley's passing happened just one week after the very first match of Hulk's career, period.
