10 Ways Royal Rumble Proves 2015 Will Be A Bad Year For WWE Fans

7. Wasted Talent

Damien Sandow winning the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2013 was a huge surprise, and when he cashed in on John Cena months later, it appeared as if his career was about to be taken to the next level. Much to the dismay of the WWE Universe, that didn't happen, and Sandow would then be stuck in a humiliating rotation of embarrassing gimmicks. Sandow is extremely talented in the ring, so even a title reign of a few weeks could have been hugely beneficial to him. Regardless, while "Damien Mizdow" at first appeared to be a short lived gimmick, it's really taken off. Since then, Mizdow has been revelling in a great deal of love from the crowd as he solidifies himself as a legit fan-favourite Superstar. Unfortunately, anyone hoping that the WWE might have big plans for him should reign in their expectations as Mizdow's short lived burst of momentum in the Royal Rumble is perhaps an indication that the WWE will continue to waste their potentially top tier talent. For proof of that, just look at how the likes of Cesaro ended up being treated in the match!
