In terms of TNA being ahead of the curve, this might just be their biggest selling point had - especially against their biggest competition.

While WWE struggled to get a Divas match to last up to five minutes on average, the Knockouts division were busy setting the roof on fire. As early as 2007, TNA had the Knockouts division immediately boosting their credibility and the overall respect for women's wrestling. WWE specifically wouldn't see a similar turn of events unfold until 2016, when they kick-started the "Divas Revolution".

But unlike their counterpart's eventual revolution, TNA's work with introducing females as legitimate contenders to a championship never felt forced. WWE is pretty well-known for shoving their ideas down your throat, and that's been incredibly present over the last few years of the women's divisions. TNA, on the other hand, just took incredibly talented female wrestlers, such as Gail Kim and Awesome Kong, sent them out to the ring, and let their matches speak for themselves.

Not only did TNA influence the business, they arguably handled it all better.
