2. Avoid 'Us Vs Them' Stories
It's clear that both the Raw and SmackDown brands will be aware of each other, and it makes sense for each roster to want to outdo the other. However, the original brand split turned into too much of a pissing contest.
With multiple pay-per-views focused solely on pitting Raw vs SmackDown, a lot of the feuds between single Superstars were overshadowed by the same old stories.
From what we can understand, the brand split this time around is more focused on allowing the new breed of Superstars to flourish. If that's the case, Raw and SmackDown should not be constantly pitted against each other.
Just as NXT is its own separate brand - the developmental Superstars rarely mention the main roster performers - the two programs should keep the focus on their own brands.
