10 Ways To Make WWE's Brand Split 2016 A Success
3. Establish A Major Championship That Means Something
Although unconfirmed, it's assumed that WWE will introduce a second major championship for either Raw or SmackDown while the current WWE World Heavyweight Championship is defended on the other. After all, it would only make sense for two equal brands to have major championships or we might as well burn the idea to the ground right now.
With the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship unified, WWE will likely have to create a new title with no prior history. Make no mistake about it, that is no easy feat.
The positive is that the company can use the opportunity to create a championship from scratch that hasn't been tarnished or involved in ridiculous stories. Maybe even something that embodies the passion of the WWE Universe and the 'new era'.
Whatever WWE decides to do when introducing the title, it can't be a routine introduction. Make it mean something.
