There is a serious lack of star power on the WWE roster right now. Realistically, who do WWE have regularly on their shows who could be considered bonafide stars? John Cena, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan. Roman Reigns is being groomed for that spot but he's not there yet. Big Show and Kane are past it. In 2005, the WWE roster was comparatively stacked. Back then people were complaining that there was a lack of star power, which is hard to believe when you consider that Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Batista, John Cena, Randy Orton, The Undertaker, Ric Flair Kurt Angle and Triple H were all active and working TV, PPV and house shows. These days WWE would give anything to have a roster that loaded. WWE still has access to some big stars, but they work on a strictly part-time basis. Brock Lesnar is only contracted to work a handful of matches per year (from which he earns millions). The Undertaker and Triple H are WrestleMania only workers. The Rock comes back every now and again. Batista came back for a bit before Hollywood came calling. It's a shame that fans have to wait until a SummerSlam or a WrestleMania for WWE to wheel out the 'real' stars of the show but that's just the way it is in 2015.
