Battleground 2017 was an absolute shambles of a pay-per-view, and one of the worst major shows WWE have produced in years. It did have one big highlight, though: The Usos' SmackDown Tag Team Title defence against The New Day.

The two teams set the night off with an explosive in-ring contest that nobody else on the card could match. They met again last night, and given the quality of the previous encounter, you'd think WWE would find a spot for their big rematch on SummerSlam's main card. Sadly, they did not.

SmackDown's top two teams tore it up, bettering their last match on every level. Their chemistry is through the roof and their athleticism undeniable, and they produced a number of brutal looking high spots, including a pop-up Samoan drop to the outside. The Usos won, but their opponents were just as impressive, with Xavier Woods once again proving that the idea that he is The New Day's weak link is a total fallacy.

We all know that WWE don't prioritise in-ring action, but keeping such greatness hidden on the Kickoff Show doesn't make any sense, particularly with nonsense like Big Show vs. Big Cass on the main card. Speaking of which...
