1. The Assassin

'Who is that?'.

One can almost hear the confused outbursts from some who view themselves as WCW hardcores. Being honest, your writer had forgotten all about Jody Hamilton's run as 'The Assassin' in 1993 himself. In fact, he barely remembered a thing about it and was totally shocked after doing some research.

Hamilton was already working as a trainer at WCW's Power Plant by the time he dusted off the old mask (Jody, under the hood, was one half of 'The Assassins' tag-team in various NWA territories throughout the 1960s, 70s and 80s) for this run alongside Paul Orndorff and Paul Roma. They, along with 'The Equaliser' were Jody's final clients.

'The Assassin' was only around again for a brief while before slinking back to the Power Plant. Being fair on fans, his masked appearance made it hard for anyone to relate to him as a heel mouthpiece. If anything, that attached shot with both Pauls looks like a backstage candid more than a promotional pic.
