Super-smooth wrestling machine Dean Malenko's last WCW match will forever be remembered for quite the screw-up. At Souled Out 2000, Malenko was wrestling the first of three matches slated for Cruiserweight cracker Billy Kidman on the pay-per-view. It was a 'Catch-As-Catch-Can' bout with peculiar rules.

Tony Schiavone made a point of telling viewers that neither man could voluntarily leave the ring or they'd be disqualified. Ring announcer David Penzer relayed this to the live audience in Ohio too, but nobody told Deano. Or, maybe they did and he just wasn't listening - he was pretty much sick of WCW by that point anyway.

Literally less than two minutes into the thing, Malenko escaped some Kidman punches by rolling to the outside. Referee Charles Robinson was left with no choice but to DQ him, and everyone had a big red face. Oh well, at least Dean got to scarper with his pals to the WWF later that month.
