10 WCW Moments You Totally Don’t Remember

8. Billy Kidman's Feud With Hulk Hogan

Ask WCW fans to name Hulk Hogan's biggest feud in the company and you'll hear names like Ric Flair, Sting, and The Giant. Hell, even Vince Russo would come before Billy Kidman, but the ex-Cruiserweight star was someone WCW hacks were interested in pushing come the year 2000. That idea wouldn't last too long.

Part of The New Blood (a group designed to mimic the hip vibes of the nWo), Kidman started badmouthing The Hulkster alongside Russo and Eric Bischoff. That didn't sit well with the re-energised red and yellow, brother, and Hogan was encouraged by his Millionaire Club buddies to put Kidman in his place.

Matches at Slamboree and The Great American Bash followed. Neither of these brought Billy up to Hulk's level, which is likely why hardly anyone remembers them. That kid couldn't headline at a flea market, dude, or so said Hogan during one press interview.
