10 WCW Stars From The '90s You Totally Don't Remember

2. Roadblock

Here's a bloke who pretended to be a road stoppage, or a WWE pay-per-view.

Roadblock signed on as enhancement talent for WCW in 1996, and he became a regular on (yep, you guessed it) Saturday Night over the next few years. At one point, Roadblock even challenged Lex Luger to a match on Nitro. Obviously, he lost.

Other than working the C-show circuit and making bold challenges to main-eventers, Roadblock entered the 1996 version of World War III and became known for writing, 'Dead End' on his ring gear. "Became known for" might be a slight lie. Despite being a WCW employee for close to three years during the promotion's height, Roadblock flew under the radar.

Amazingly, he was still wrestling on the indy scene up until around 2012 before calling it a day.
