10 Weird Times WWE Superstars Shared The Same Theme

9. Ernest Miller/Brodus Clay

Remember when WWE decided to take imposing big man Brodus Clay, slap some Flash Funk-style gear on him and hope he could become a dancing funny man to rival old favourites like Rikishi? The 'Funkasaurus' gimmick was terrible, seemed like a relic from the past and struggled to get over. Somebody needed to call his momma'.

That very song wasn't even an original choice. Years earlier, ex-WCW star Ernest 'The Cat' Miller had already used it for his own WWE run.

Someone must have been super-fond of the track to use it again for Clay. Granted, Miller's stint ended up being more Velocity than SmackDown, and yet the song did ring over the PA system at the 2004 Royal Rumble. That's still on the Network, making it easy for bat-eared fans to catch that hey, ol' Ernest got there before big Brodus.

We bet WWE never thought it'd be one of Clay's backup dancers who would go on to have a more remarkable career than the fun-loving 'Funkasaurus'.
