10 Weirdest WWE Royal Rumble Entrants Ever

4. El Torito (2014)

Hornswoggle isn't the only little person to have the distinction of wrestling in a Royal Rumble match, as El Torito joined that list with his appearance in 2014.

El Torito was a fairly fresh face in the WWE Universe by that point, having debuted as a mascot for Los Matadores mere months earlier. The incredibly talented luchador proved to be the best part of their act, so it was only fitting that he earned a spot in the Rumble over his partners Diego and Fernando.

Without that context, El Torito running into the Rumble at number 20 may seem rather random to the casual viewer, especially once he was made to look like an equal to Seth Rollins and Fandango (who he wound up eliminating).

Next to the WeeLC match against Hornswoggle later that year, it didn't get much better for Torito in WWE than this. He was promptly eliminated by Roman Reigns in a matter of minutes.

The crowd enjoyed his cameo in the moment yet weren't as happy by the end when they realized he was given a spot over a guy like Daniel Bryan.
