10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE 2019 Men's Royal Rumble

1. Roman Reigns

In this scenario, wild means 'absolutely feral'. Let's state right off the bat that this won't happen - and even if it can, it probably shouldn't.

However, it can't entirely be ruled out. Roman Reigns sent leukaemia into remission in super-human time during his first battle with the disease, and given his constitution and record, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he can do it again.

But even if Reigns does defy doctors - and every body part crossed that he does - would he be in any sort of condition to return to the ring?

Knowing Roman's dedication and ambition, he'd probably do everything to make sure he was.

Even if it's as much as appearing at number 30 to gently tip the last man over the top, it's hard to imagine a wrestling moment - any moment - that would or could be as magical. He could then disappear for three months before receiving his proper coronation over Brock Lesnar.

As wonderful as Roman returning at the Rumble would be - and only the worst sort of misanthrope would boo his achievement this time - his long-term health, both emotional and physical, has to be of greater concern first. Let's just wish for his recovery before anything else.

Probability: It's a miracle scenario. They do happen from time to time.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
