10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2023

9. Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is playing the role of a name talent who occupies a World champion before WrestleMania season begins in earnest, and it is thus unlikely that she'll win the Royal Rumble.

But!

Perhaps a different version of Alexa Bliss will emerge as a wild outside bet on January 28. Bliss, as has been teased heavily - and horribly, of course! - is about to realign with Bray Wyatt. Or Uncle Howdy.

But whose side is Uncle Howdy on?!

Is this a supernatural Aces and Eights sort of deal, in which Bray Wyatt is going to "take his lumps" to get the psychological advantage? And why would he bother doing that, when LA Knight could set him on fire and he would simply survive?

Bliss hasn't impressed in the ring of late, but who needs that when you can tell a "story" (of the sort that is executed far better in its actual context of horror cinema)?

Spooky Alexa Bliss - ie the inexplicably infantilised woman that the Fiend preyed upon - looks set to make a return, and it's not beyond the realms of possibility that that version of the character goes all the way.

They didn't hire a Director of Lore at great expense for the silly purposes of in-ring sports-oriented storytelling, after all.
