10 Wild Predictions For Kurt Angle’s Big Secret

6. He Can Never Wrestle Again

Kurt Angle wrestled his last match in March of this year, defeating Cody Rhodes in a steel cage match for popular US Independent organisation North East Wrestling.

He spoke in interviews about the company's reluctance to put him in the ring immediately, with his Hall of Fame induction and General Manager role deployed in order to put him back in the spotlight without risking further damage to his injury-ravaged frame.

Despite this, rumours have abounded about when, not if, he'll make his in-ring return in a high profile encounter against one of the younger talents on the main roster or a former rival for a headline attraction. Kurt has made no secret of his endless hunger for competition, and could have been shrouding the reality of his physical breakdown in secrecy all this time, depressed with the knowledge that WWE doctors would never clear him should they get word of his current limitations.

The revelation would be as heartbreaking for Kurt's fanbase as the Olympian himself, but would carry gravitas following the public drawn out retirement of Daniel Bryan that completely transformed perceptions of WWE's extensive physical testing. Angle's insistence on hiding the extent of his injuries could potentially put his place back 'home' under great risk, or subversively weaved into a storyline where he fights 'without clearance' just to prove he still can.
