10 Wild Predictions For Kurt Angle’s Big Secret

WWE's sensational look into Kurt Angle's career and 2017 return was another case of their typically well-produced redemptive tale.

Traversing between the evocative highs and lows of an inspirational career mixed with a hugely challenging personal life, it told the complex story of Kurt's life and the various challenges that more than once almost cost him his family and livelihood.

There's platefuls of neat spin of course, with the tale keen to remind audiences that the worst of his problems occurred outside WWE during an exile driven by Vince McMahon in order for Kurt to seek additional help, but the story of his recovery was no less enriching especially considering his AngleStrong app which seeks to help others experiencing similar problems.

The company haven't travelled down such a dark path with a character in quite some time, but it would be an interest contrast to see if Monday Night Raw could be used to strip back the veneer of the documentary's happy ending to reveal that the fragile Angle was in fact still in trouble.

Yet again, Angle would find himself risking losing everything in a battle to beat the bottle, but the Wellness-sensitive organisation could coax him through, marrying up his television role with the very real fight his fought hard to win.
