10 Wildest Spots In The History Of The WWE Money In The Bank Match
1. A Superplex With Flair
Jeff's leg drop may be the most famous spot in Money In The Bank history, but nothing comes close to the madness of this insane move.
WrestleMania 22's ladder match doesn't really get much of a look in these days. Beyond RVD's win, nobody really remembers much about it. This is a crying shame, because one of the craziest things in WWE history took place in this match.
For reasons known only to himself, The Nature Boy Ric Flair was a part of this match. Flair didn't even compete in ladder matches in his prime and yet here he was, two years out from retirement, going for the briefcase.
He didn't just phone it in either. Mere minutes into the match, Flair found himself on top of the ladder, fending off an attack from Matt Hardy. Proving once again that he is nothing but trouble in these matches, Matt grabbed Flair and delivered a Superplex to The Nature Boy from the top of the ladder.
If this doesn't sound impressive, then that's probably because you don't know that Flair was 57-years-old at the time.
Few wrestlers compete in high-stakes matches at nearly sixty and even fewer get superplexed off ladders at that age. Flair should get a third Hall of Fame induction for this spot alone.
