Before he secured his place in history as a WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston was known as "that guy who does cool stuff in the Money In The Bank and Royal Rumble matches and stuff". Pretty sure that's what they used to call him.

One such example of this "stuff" came at the very first Money In The Bank pay-per-view in 2010. The SmackDown match, which was eventually won by Kane, featured top stars of the day, including Kingston and a slightly-weedier, less-beardy looking Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre was in the middle of his "Chosen One" gimmick at the time and was personally added to this match by Vince McMahon himself. Although it wasn't long before The Scotsman was wishing that Vinne Mac had kept his mouth shut.

McIntyre found himself laid out on one of the announce tables, whilst Kofi perched high above him on a ladder. The future New Day member threw caution to the wind and delivered his signature "Boom Drop" move to McIntyre, obliterating the announcers' desk and his opponent all in one go.

The move looked awesome and showed fans that Kofi was absolutely ready for a main event push. It's just a shame that WWE took nine years to see the same.
