10 Wildest WCW Moments

Sting joining the nWo was one hell of a wacky moment...

Much has been written about the laughing stock that World Championship Wrestling eventually became. The latter few years of the promotion's existence were not kind to it, although it was considered unlikely that the company would cease to exist outright. As history would dictate, that was to come in time for WCW, and that fact is explored in this article. This list aims to look at 10 of the most wild moments in WCW history. In truth, not all of them are negative. General perception of WCW for those who weren't around during the organisation's height is that it was a hotbed for nonsense. Whilst that's true to an extent, those folks down in Atlanta were also responsible for some of the most downright shocking and entertaining occurrences in wrestling folklore. There are a few distinct positives included here, and it's important to mention the fact that they felt truly revolutionary when they happened. Shocking debuts, incredible stable formations and remarkable image changes highlight the positives WCW could be responsible for. Unfortunately, there's also the negatives. Baffling title decisions, stupid attempts to incorporate real life into storylines and ending hot winning streaks all come into play here too. Whether positive or negative, these moments must still be considered wild.
