3. Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ye5rT3ZC7M Earlier in this countdown, we discussed just how underrated and undervalued Molly Holly was as a performer. Never was this more evident than in 2002, when she transitioned from being the sweet, innocent Holly cousin to the loud, overbearing moralist who was disgusted by the blatant exploitation of her fellow Divas' considerable sex appeal. She was wholesome and pure and was unafraid to let anyone in the company, or the crowd, know it. Considering that Women's champion Trish Stratus was the personification of sex appeal, she made the perfect opponent for Molly. Their matches in the summer of 2002 really brought a new element to the Divas division. Where as Trish showcased her resiliency while fighting the brawler Jazz earlier in the year she was able to demonstrate her considerable wrestling skills when mixing it up with the quality technician that was Molly Holly. She engaged in chain- and counter-wrestling, proving once and for all that she was more than just a pretty face with a killer body. The feud would continue on for the next year as the competitors traded wins, each determined to prove their superiority over the other. In the end, it is difficult to say either woman truly got the best of the other. They were each other's equal and their rivalry was so incredibly fun to watch unfold because of the stellar ring work fans could expect from their matches.
