Often listed along side 'highlight' in major dictionaries, 'high-spot' is a very literal term in wrestling that has broadened into a general idea of a climatic event in sports and entertainment, even being used to describe a free-kick scored by Hakan alhanolu in the Bundesliga earlier this season. More specifically recognised as an event as opposed to a general sense of climax, this word lends itself nicely to the overall feel of a highlight and whilst the outside world will likely never appreciate the term 'spot' for what it is, the context in which 'high-spot' is frequently used leaves little doubt to its intended meaning.
