When talking about the worst PPVs from this era, there are some WCW shows that are so bad they transcend company boundaries and demand to be place on this list.

Halloween Havoc has always been one of WCW's worst shows historically, with matches like the Thunderdome in 1989 or the Chamber of Horrors in 1991, but the 1998 show takes the cake in terms of bad matches and blunders.

There's a lot to talk about with this show, but there are two matches that overshadow everything else, the first being the WrestleMania VI rematch between Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior. The match contains multiple screw-ups, most notably Hogan's flash paper spot literally back-firing in his face, and the finish involved Hogan's nephew Horace giving Warrior "the most unsatisfying chair shot in history" according to one writer, all so Hogan could get his win back from WrestleMania.

Unfortunately, that' s not as bad as Halloween Havoc '98 gets, as during the main event of Diamond Dallas Page versus Goldberg, the show ran beyond the contracted three hours and for many people across America, the show simply ended.

WCW were forced to replay the PPV main event for free the next night on Nitro, and what has been hailed as one of the best Havoc matches ever will always be remembered for the technical difficulties surrounding it.
