10 Worst Attitude Era PPVS
5. In Your House: D-Generation X
D-Generation X: In Your House had the unfortunate timing of being the next pay-pay-view immeditely following Survivor Series 1997, where the infamous Montreal Screwjob took place.
Fans genuinely weren't happy with the WWF or D-X, so just like nWo Souled Out earlier in the year, people weren't too pleased to see an entire PPV themed around the cool-guy heels who seem to get away with everything.
The event isn't just about D-Generation X, but aside from an early Stone Cold versus The Rock match, the remaining bouts are the definition of forgettable. For example, there's a six-man tag team match between the stables of Los Boricuas and the Disciples of Apocalypse, but honestly, can you name one member of either team without looking it up on Wikipedia?
Elsewhere on the card, Jeff Jarrett defeats The Undertaker by disqualification, Butterbean returns to defeat Marc Mero in a 'Toughman Match' and Triple H defeated Sgt. Slaughter in a 'Boot Camp Match'. The main event saw Ken Shamrock take on WWF Champion Shawn Michaels in a match that no-one really wanted to see, and ended with another disqualification finish to put a unsatisfying bow on this rubbish PPV.
