10 Worst Bladers In Wrestling History
7. Matt Tremont
This one's quite hard to watch.
This list is mostly reserved for people who should know better, veterans of their craft who should have nailed down how to blade as a fundamental part of their training, but there's no ignoring this dreadful blade job from then-rookie Matt Tremont.
Shortly after debuting in CZW, Tremont was wrestling another big bald man and the two engaged in a headbutt-off. After both guys perform a double running 'butt, they separate and juice. Most blades should be relatively small, so that their straightness and thinness (obvious signs of a razor cut) are less noticeable
. Tremont gives himself a ridiculouslylong cut, one that stretches across his forehead and up his head. It's completely ridiculous bloodletting, especially when you consider that it was supposed to be caused by a headbutt.
It should be held up as an example of bad blading, so as to discourage other athletes from giving themselves excessive and unrealistic cuts, just for the sake of shock value.
