2. Vader Needs Sex

Wow.

Mick Foley discussed his pal Vader's time in Kuwait during a recent episode of his podcast, and it was rather eye-opening. According to Mick, "Vader Time" means something else entirely. The big man had been under house arrest in Western Asia due to putting hands on a TV host during a public appearance in April 1997.

Kuwait authorities detained the wrestler for two weeks, which meant he didn't fly back to North America with the rest of the WWF crew. When Vader eventually did get home, he ditched some house show matches because "he needed to go home and have sex with his wife" (Foley's words).

Vader told WWF officials that he'd been away from home for far too long, and he badly needed some alone time with his spouse. This earned him some heat backstage, because most reasoned it was Vader's fault in the first place that he'd been stuck abroad.
