10 Worst Finishes To WWE WrestleMania Matches
6. Mark Henry vs Ryback (WrestleMania 29)
About as pure filler as a WrestleMania match can get, Mark Henry vs Ryback wasn’t a pairing that anyone will have been particularly looking forward to, and by virtue of the goofy ending, it’s not a clash anyone will hold fond memories of.
The basis behind the encounter was that both men are big and strong, and they demonstrate this by bear hugging and clubbing one another for eight of the longest minutes you could ever hope (not) to endure.
Eventually Ryback - who once seemed tipped for the top, don’t forget - has had enough, and he lifts up Henry to dish out his Shellshock finisher. Unfortunately he failed to factor in the sheer weight of Mark, and is flattened under the strongman’s heft and pinned for the three.
After this, Ryback pops up and delivers the Shellshock anyway, having already lost the match. It’s hard to know whose stock suffered the most in this ill thought out snooze, but the fans certainly suffered alongside them.
