Curt Hennig will rightfully be most fondly remembered for his time as WWF's Mr. Perfect, a narcissistic bleach-blond heel who deemed himself "absolutely perfect" - and had the wrestling skills to back it up. Like Goldust, he was unable to carry the name with him into WCW, but unlike Goldust, he could have easily retained the same image and persona. For the first two years of his run, he remained largely the same. Sadly, however, WCW then saw fit to turn him into the frontman of an all-wrestler country band. Despite being a famous Minnesotan, Hennig was made part of The West Texas Rednecks, a group which also saw the very talented Barry Windham wasted on drums. The band actually recorded two songs, the first being 'Rap Is Crap (I Hate Rap)'. Luckily the stable disbanded in 1999, and Hennig left a few months later. He reprised his Mr. Perfect role in the 2002 Royal Rumble, surprising everybody by making it to the final four alongside contemporary megastars Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, and eventual winner Triple H.
