Bray Wyatt's 2014 feud with John Cena was the first time that 'The Eater of Worlds' was exposed as not being a main-event player, at least in the eyes of WWE management. He suffered his first loss at WrestleMania XXX, and was literally buried by Cena in a Last Man Standing match at Payback.

Perhaps the most damning part of the feud, though, came with Wyatt's sole win over Cena, which took place in a steel cage match at Extreme Rules. The bout was long, boring, and riddled with interference, but fans don't remember that - what they do remember is the absurd finish.

Cena had just hit a legdrop on Luke Harper and was heading for the cage door when the lights went out. When they came back on, a young boy was standing by the door, and began to sing "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands." This so unnerved Cena that he stopped in his tracks, allowing Wyatt to hit him with Sister Abigail and escape the cage.

This was the first appearance of "Deus Ex Machina" Wyatt, who used magic tricks to completely dictate the outcomes of matches - but for some reason, didn't do it enough to actually have a winning record.
