10 Worst Matches Of The Undertaker's WWE Career
3. Vs. The Dudley Boyz - Great American Bash 2004
The Undertaker's had a pretty unforgettable career and that really is something of an understatement. That said, you'd be forgiven if you forgot that this match existed because, well, it didn't give you much to remember.
A bland and uninteresting relic from the gimmick-is-more-important-than-the-match days, this Concrete Crypt Match was all about Paul Heyman's abduction of Paul Bearer as 'The Deadman' had to do what he was told in order to protect his Urn-carrying confidante. But as Heyman's plans never really made sense to begin with (because there was literally no endgame to them), 'Taker's rebellion was pretty predictable.
You might be able to get over the logic inconsistencies or the fact that 'Taker conveniently summoned lightning at the end of the match and not the start, but the uninteresting action made it a slog to get through.
Nothing of importance happened in those 14 long minutes and the audience's complete disinterest certainly didn't help. And the awful ending - in which 'Taker decided to bury Paul Bearer in concrete himself - ended the dull evening on a dreadfully bleak note.
It was all fun and games for 'The Deadman's '04 resurrection until this turkey came along...
