7. Brock Squashes Braun
Brock Lesnar doesn't just ruin small wrestlers - he ruins big ones too! At Crown Jewel 2018, Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman were scheduled to challenge for Roman Reigns' Universal Championship in a titanic triple threat match. Sadly, this match never happened as Reigns would relinquish the belt to take time off to fight his leukaemia.
In need of a new champion, WWE booked Lesnar and Strowman to go one-on-one for the vacant title. Strowman had been steadily been rebuilding himself since loses to Reigns and Lesnar the previous year had dented his momentum. He was definitely the crowd favourite to win the vacant prize and lead Raw as its top champion... so, naturally, Lesnar won in three minutes with help from Baron Corbin.
Admittedly, Strowman looked a lot more competent than Ricochet did - he took five F5s instead of one - but the end result was the same. Strowman had his momentum stopped dead in its tracks and some say he never fully recovered from this decisive defeat. Still, at least we got the classic Strowman/Corbin feud off the back of this match... let's move on.
